Chiante is a highly skilled registered nurse with more than 26+ years of experience analyzing and evaluating patient care across a wide range of healthcare environments. She began her nursing career working with geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute units, and hospice care. Within five years, she advanced into a leadership role as Director of a 120-bed assisted living facility, where she was responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of resident care.

During her time off, Chiante expanded her clinical experience by working registry shifts at hospitals throughout Southern California. Her work included various units such as medical-surgical, telemetry, oncology, emergency room, urgent care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and detention units providing care for inmates requiring skilled nursing services. She also spent many years working as a pediatric transplant home health nurse and served as a private duty nurse for patients requiring one-on-one specialized care.

Chiante has also developed significant experience within the insurance industry, having worked for a workers' compensation firm. She worked with a leading five-star health insurance company, where she has gained extensive knowledge of the regulations and standards set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Throughout her career, she has always been drawn to the intersection between nursing and the legal system. As a nurse, she frequently faced situations requiring rapid decision-making that directly impacted patient outcomes, while also navigating complex legal considerations related to patient care.
